Mr. L.C. Reliford, Green Co., KY; Adair native (1929-2016)

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Summer Shade United Methodist Church in the Bramlett Community of Green County, KY. He was a retired farmer. He was a member of an outstanding South Central Kentucky family. He was a native of Adair County, KY, the son of the late Ed Lee Reliford and Ruby Coomer Reliford. His wife Infelice Posey Reliford, survives. He leaves one direct living descendant, a son, Donnie Reliford.

Mr. L.C. Reliford departed this life Saturday, May 21, 2016 at the Norton's Hosparus Inpatient Care Center, Louisville, KY.

The funeral services will be at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home, 209 W Court Street, Greensburg, KY, at 1pmCT, Monday, May 23, 2016. Rev. William Davenport and Rev. Travis Keltner will officiate. Visitation will be at 10amCT until funeral time at 1pmCT, Monday, at the funeral home. Interment will be in Summer Shade Cemetery, Bramlett Community of Green County.



Pallbearers: Charlie Simpson, Teddy Upchurch, James (Peediddle) Darnell, Marcus Kessler, Doug Keltner, Justin Henderson, Josh Coffey, Wade Squires, and Danny Burriss.

Mr. L.C. Reliford was born Monday, August 19, 1929 in Adair County, KY. He was the son of the late Ed Lee Reliford and Ruby Coomer Reliford. He departed this life Saturday, May 21, 2016 at the Norton's Hosparus Inpatient Care Center, Louisville, Jefferson County, KY, having attained the age of 86 years, nine months and two days.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Summer Shade United Methodist Church in the Bramlett Community of Green County, KY. He was a retired farmer. Besides his parents he is preceded in death by two brothers and one sister: Larue, Thurmon and Christine Reliford.

He is survived by his wife, Infelice Posey Reliford, and the following:
  • One son and daughter-in-law: Donnie and Beverly Reliford of Greensburg, KY

  • One brother and sister-in-law: Simpson and Shirley Reliford of Adair County, KY

  • Nieces and nephews: Teresa Henderson of Greensburg, KY; Gerald Wayne and LaVerne Reliford, Todd Michael and Rhonda Reliford, Jody and EdriAnn Reliford, all of Columbia, KY; and Melinda and Danny Brayton of Venus, FL

  • Great nephew: Justin Henderson of Greensburg, KY

  • Several other great nieces and great nephews

  • Cousin: Wanda Shuffett of Greensburg, KY

  • Plus a host of other relatives and friends
