Amy was a faithful member of Pleasant Hill Christian Church and enjoyed doing crafts and projects. She was a native of Adair County and a resident of the county at the time of her death. She was a member of a highly respected family, the daughter of Gene & Sue Ann Bennett Collins, both of whom survive.

Amy Irene Collins age 48 years of the Montpelier Community Columbia, KY passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at 4:47amCT, at her home.

Funeral service Friday, May 20, 2016 at 11amCT, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Bill Wethington the officiating clergy. Interment in Regan Cemetery at Glensfork, KY. Visitation after 4:30pmCT, Thursday, May 19, 2016, at the funeral home.

She was born on July 19, 1967 in Columbia, Adair County, KY. She was the daughter of Gene & Sue Ann Bennett Collins of Montpelier, KY. She died Wednesday, May 18, 2016, 16, at the age of 48 years, 10 months, and 29 days.

Besides her parents she is survived by
  • One sister: Jeana (John David) Pike of Columbia, KY

  • Special niece & nephew: Jeanene Pike & Collin Pike

  • Several uncles, aunts, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends
Amy was a faithful member of Pleasant Hill Christian Church and enjoyed doing crafts and projects.
