She retired from Glasgow State Hospital. Mrs. Forrest was a member of Purpose of Life Ministries in Indianapolis and Old Blue Springs Baptist Church, Knob Lick, KY.

Mrs. Mable L. Forrest, 89, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away on May 5, 2016. Her first visitation is Monday, May 9, 2016, 2pm-6pmCT, 3pm-7pmET at Purpose of Life Ministries, 3705 W Kessler Blvd N Drive,Indianapolis, IN. The 2nd visitation is Tuesday, May 10, 2016, 4pm-7pmCT, and the service is Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at 11amCT in Old Blue Springs Baptist Church, 887 W Black Dot Road, Knob Lick, KY. The burial is in Yates & Woods Cemetery.



She retired from Glasgow State Hospital. Mrs. Forrest was a member of Purpose of Life Ministries in Indianapolis and Old Blue Springs Baptist Church, Knob Lick, KY.

She leaves to cherish her memory:
  • Children: Robert E. Forrest (Virginia) and Wanda Whitley (Yancey)

  • Siblings: Thomas Sublett (Lucy), Damon Sublett and Dorothy Twyman

  • Seven grandchildren

  • Fifteen great grandchildren

  • Eleven great great grandchildren
  • and a host of extended family and friends
