Charles Richard Goodhue, Cumberland County, KY (1935-2016)

He was a former employee of Benny Staley Trucking, and had worked in construction and sawmill operations. He loved fishing, hunting, and playing checkers. He was a member of a highly regarded family, born in Cumberland County the son of the late Hubert and Marie Long Goodhue. His wife, Aline Goodhue, survives. He leaves five direct living descendants.

Charles Richard Goodhue age 81, of Burkesville, KY passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Cumberland County Hospital, Burkesville, KY.

Funeral zervice will be Wednesday, May 04, 2016 at 11amCT, at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N Main Street, Burkesville, KY with burial in Burkesville Cemetery. The family requests visitation after 5pmCT, on Tuesday, May 03, 2016 at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home.



Charles Richard Goodhue, Cumberland County, KY (1935-2016)

Richard was born on January 12, 1935 in Cumberland County, KY. He was the son of the late Hubert and Marie Long Goodhue. He died Saturday, April 30, 2016, at the age of 81 years, three months, and 18 days.

He was a former employee of Benny Staley Trucking, and had worked in construction and sawmill operations. He loved fishing, hunting, and playing checkers.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Bobby Goodhue. Survivors include:
  • His wife: Arline Goodhue of Burkesville, KY

  • One son: David Goodhue of Burkesville, KY

  • daughter: Vickie (and Tony) Staley of Burkesville, KY

  • One grandson: Casey Staley of Burkesville, KY

  • One great Grandson: Will Staley of Burkesville, KY

  • One great Granddaughter: Makenna Staley

  • and a host of other relatives and friends
