Sample Ballots for 7-County Area printed here for study The sample ballot to be voted in Adair, Casey, Cumberland, Green, Metcalfe, Russell and Taylor Counties in the Tuesday, May 17, 2016 primary election are linked to this article. Click 'read more' below, then scroll down below the story to find your county's sample ballot. Voters are reminded that there will not be any Republican candidates for President, as the party held caucuses on March 2, 2016 instead of using the primary election system in the presidential nominating system. The faces of the ballots are the same as are being used on the absentee machines in County Court Clerk's office through May 16, 2016. Polls will be open 6am-6pm local time, which is Central for Adair, Cumberland, Green, Russell and Metcalfe, and Eastern time for Casey and Taylor Counties.
