He was currently a Registry Clerk for the U.S. Postal Service, a graduate of the Green County High School Class of 1986 and attended Western Kentucky University. Doy enjoyed reading, fishing, trap shooting, sky diving, and computer technology.

Mr. Doy Ott Davis, Jr., 48, of Hixson, Tennessee, departed this life on Friday, April 1, 2016 at his home in Tennessee.

The funeral services for Mr. Doy Ott Davis, Jr. were conducted at 11amCT, Thursday, April 7, 2016 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S Main Street, Greensburg, KY, with burial in the New Salem Cemetery. Bro. Jamie Bennett officiate. Visitation was requested from 3pm until 8pmCT, Wednesday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7am, Thursday until time of the funeral service.



Pallbearers were Tony Taylor, Norman Creason, Tommy Creason, Bobby Curry, Cliff Carnes, Gerthie Gentry, and Mark Chaudoin.

Mr. Doy Ott Davis, Jr. of Hixson, Tennessee, formerly of Green County, Kentucky, son of Alma Elaine Chaudoin Davis of Greensburg, and the late Doy Ott Davis, Sr., was born on March 10, 1968 in Warren County, Kentucky, and departed this life on Friday, April 1, 2016 at his home in Tennessee. He was 48 years, and 22 days of age.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Green River Memorial Baptist Church. He was currently a Registry Clerk for the U.S. Postal Service, a graduate of the Green County High School Class of 1986 and attended Western Kentucky University. Doy enjoyed reading, fishing, trap shooting, sky diving, and computer technology.

Besides his mother, he is survived by:
  • A special uncle: Otis Chaudoin of Greensburg, KY

  • An aunt: Joan Cook of Greensburg, KY

  • Cousins: Mark Chaudoin, Rebecca Ann Chaudoin, Mary Cook, Connie Antle, Glenda Carol Curry, Keith Patterson, Kyle Patterson, Brian Curry, all of Greensburg, KY and Shannon Chaudoin of Lebanon, KY

  • And a host of other relatives and friends
