Jonathon Grabara tied for lead at MSC Spring Tournament Lindsey Wilson men's golf sits in second place overall By David Gerhart Campbellsville, KY - The Lindsey Wilson men's golf team sits in second place after the first round of the Mid-South Conference Spring Tournament after finishing with a 6-over par 294 at the Campbellsville Country Club on Monday. On the par 72 course, Jonathon Grabara is tied for the lead after shooting a first round score of 4-under par 68. Grabara is tied with Cumberlands' (Ky.) Michael Murphy, who is playing as an individual. Chris Butler is the final Blue Raider in the top ten as they fired a 1-over par 73 on the first day of competition. Butler is one of three golfers tied for ninth place. Ryan Nowe, who was playing as an individual for Lindsey Wilson, is tied for 12th in the field of 59 golfers with a 2-over par 74. Zach Madewell sits in 20th overall after shooting a 4-over par 76 on Monday. Federico Navarro is one stroke behind Madewell with an opening round score of 5-over par 77. Alex Durham sits in a tie for 40th place after shooting an 11-over par 83 in the first round of the tournament. Jordan Hagan was the final Blue Raider in the field as he competed as an individual for Lindsey Wilson. Hagan put together a round of 13-over par 85. Cumberlands leads the way after the first round after they posted a team score of 3-over par 291. The Blue Raiders are three strokes off the lead as they posted a 6-over par 294 on Monday. Cumberland (Tenn.) rounded out the top three after shooting a 17-over par 305. The final round of the Mid-South Conference Spring Tournament is slated to start at 7:30amCT on Tuesday with a shotgun start at the Campbellsville Country Club.
