Jeanette was born in Columbia, Adair County, KY on July 2, 1942. She was a daughter of the late Lois (Hill) and Forest Kerns. She died Friday, April 1, 2016, at her home in Russell Springs, Russell County, KY, at the age of 73 years, eight months, and 30 days.

Jeanette is survived by the following:
  • Three daughters, Townia (Dallon) Matthews, of Russell Springs, KY; Delilah (Carl) Mings, of Columbia, KY; and Annette (Jamie) Hadley, of Columbia, KY

  • Three sons: Dwight (Sandy) Kerr, of Jamestown, KY; Tony Kerr, of Jamestown, KY; and Troy (Tina) Doss, of Columbia, KY

  • Two sisters: Loretta Smith, of Jamestown, KY; and Shirley Wilson, of Russell Springs, KY

  • Five brothers: Fred Kerns, of Columbia, KY; Joe, Paul, and Ricky Kerns all of Russell Springs, KY
  • , and Dwight Kerns, of Jamestown, KY
  • Eleven grandchildren

  • Four great grandchildren
