Rexine Hagan, age 93, of Edmonton, KY, died Friday, April 1, 2016 at T.j. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow.

Funeral services will be held 1pmCT, Monday, April 4, 2016, at Butler Funeral Home, 201 East Street, Edmonton, KY, with burial in the Edmonton Cemetery. Visitation will be 4pm-8pmCT, Sunday and after 9amCT, Monday at the funeral home.



She the daughter of the late John Lewis Martin and Ethel Pearl Bragg Martin. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Clenton Hagan; Four brothers, Audrey, Avery, Maxie and Demon Martin; two sisters Thelma Smith and Geneva Duvall. A step son, Joseph E. Hagan, and a step daughter Beverly Willey.

She is survived by:
  • Nieces and nephews: Peggy (Roger) Finn of Edmonton, KY; Janice (Wayne) Wilson of Edmonton, KY; Lou (Danny) Crumpton of Austin, Danny (Linda) Duvall of Edmonton, KY; Brenda (David) Judd of Greensburg, KY; Billie Sue (Gary) Smith of Horse Cave, KY; Mike (Sally) Martin of Edmonton, KY; Sheila (Butch) Gibson of Edmonton, KY; Ray (Norma Jean) Smith of Edmonton, KY; and Connie (Lacy) Cox of Edmonton, KY

  • Several other nieces and nephews also survive
