Richard Lyle Earhart age 73 of Morehead, Kentucky formerly of Edmonton, KY passed away Sunday, March 27, 2016 at St Clair Hospital in Morehead, KY

Funeral services will be held 11amCT, Saturday, April 2, 2016 at Butler Funeral Home, 201 East Street, Edmonton, KY, with cremation to follow. Visitation will be 10amCT, until service time Saturday at the funeral home.



Richard Lyle Earhart, 73, Metcalfe Co., KY (1942-2016)

He was the son of the late Lyle and June Eusler Earhart. He was born November 18, 1942. He died Sunday, March 27, 2016, in Morehead, Rowan County, KY, at the age of 73 years, four months, and nine days,.

Richard served in the United States Army from 1961 until 1964.

He is survived by his wife Sharon Earhart of Morehead, KY, and the following:
  • One son: Jeffery Earhart of Lafayette, Indiana

  • Two daughters; Tammy Gallien and husband Bobby of Lafayette, Indiana, and Janet Brown and husband Brian of Frankfort, Indiana

  • Two brothers: Robert Earhart of Lafayette, Indiana and Ted Earhart of Georgia

  • One sister: Linda Myers and husband Don of Francesville, Indiana

  • Nine grandchildren

  • Six great grandchildren
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife Lynda Parnell Earhart and one brother Terry Earhart.
