James Whitney Cecil, 92, Green County, KY (1923-2016) He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the West Liberty First Baptist Church where he was a Deacon and Sunday School Teacher. He was a Car Dealer and Co-Owner of C.F. Cecil & Sons, and later in life worked as an Insurance Agent for Commonwealth Life Insurance Company. He was a WWII Veteran having served in the United States Army, and was also a member of the West Liberty Lions Club. There will be graveside services for Mr. James Whitney Cecil conducted at 10amCT, Thursday, March 17, 2016 at the Greensburg Cemetery, N Main Street, Greensburg, KY, with full military rites conducted by the Marion County Veteran's Honor Guard. He was born on July 15, 1923 in Lee City, Wolfe County, KY, and departed this life on Sunday, March 13, 2016 at the Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown, Hardin County, KY. He was 92 years, 7 months, and 27 days of age. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the West Liberty First Baptist Church where he was a Deacon and Sunday School Teacher. He was a Car Dealer and Co-Owner of C.F. Cecil & Sons, and later in life worked as an Insurance Agent for Commonwealth Life Insurance Company. He was a WWII Veteran having served in the United States Army, and was also a member of the West Liberty Lions Club.
