James Lee Burton, 39 years of Gary, Indiana passed away Friday, March 11, 2016 in Gary, IN.

Funeral service will be Sunday, March 13, 2016 at 3pmCT, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Ralph Foster officiating. A private interment will be in the Bearwallow Cemetery at a later date.

He was born November 9, 1977. He was the son of Davis Burton and the late Julia Deloris Reynolds Burton. He died Friday, March 11, 2016, in Gary, IN, at the age of 39 years, four months, and two days.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Julia Deloris Reynolds Burton in 2013.

He is survived by:
  • His father: Davis Burton of Gary, IN

  • Six children

  • Two step children

  • One brother: Timothy W. Burton of Gary, IN

  • Several other relatives and friends
