Lorn V. "Mose" Bennett age 77 of Edmonton, KY, died Friday, March 11, 2016 at Metcalfe Health Care in Edmonton, KY.

Funeral services will be held 1pmCT, Monday, March 14, 2016, at Butler Funeral Home, 201 East Street, Edmonton, KY, with burial in the Morris Chapel Cemetery, Intersection KY 768 & Bennett Ridge Road, in Adair County, KY. Visitation will be 5pm-8pmCT, Sunday, March 13, 2016 and after 9amCT, Monday at the funeral home.



Lorn V. (Mose) Bennett, 77, Edmonton, KY (1939-2016)


He was the son of the late Clifton and Nora Bragg Bennett. He was born February 17, 1939. He died Friday, March 11, 2016, in Edmonton, Metcalfe County, KY, at the age of 77 years and 23 days.

He was a retired farmer and of the Methodist faith.

He is survived by the following:
  • His wife Annie Wheat Bennett of Edmonton, KY

  • Three sisters: Virginia Coomer and Bernice Wisdom of Edmonton, KY; and Delsie Gibson of Scipio, Indiana
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Finley Bennett; a sister, Bernell Yates; and a nephew Gearld Bennett.
