Christopher Long, age 43, passed away on Tuesday, March 08, 2016 at Cumberland County Hospital, Burkesville, KY.

Funeral service will be Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 3pmCT, at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N Main Street, Burkesville, KY, with burial in Hardy Cemetery. Family requests visitation on Saturday, March 12, 2016 from 10amCT until the service time at 3pmCT, at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home.



Christopher Long, 43, Burkesville, KY (1972-2016)


Chris was born in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY on August 19, 1972. He was the son of the late Debbie Long and Don Burbridge. He died Tuesday, March 8, 2016, in Burkesville, Cumberland Co., KY, at the age of 43 years, six months, and 18 days.

He was a truck driver.

Survivors include:
  • His grandmother, Glee Long of Burkesville, KY

  • Two sisters, Donna Goodloe and Lorrie Hill both of KY

  • One brother, Marshall Spears of New Mexico

  • One aunt, Ritchie Jones of Hamilton, OH

  • Three uncles, Tony Burbridge and Ricardo Burbridge both of Burkesville, KY, and Gary Long of Florida

  • One great aunt, Elizabeth Allen of Cleveland, Ohio

  • and a host of other relatives and friends
