She was a native of Jamestown, KY, and a resident of Russell Springs, KY, at the time of her death. She was a member of a highly regarded family, the daughter of the late Audrey & Arthur Lester, and the widow of Lloyd Krueger. She leaves 17 direct living descendants.

Mary Eva Krueger, 87, of Russell Springs, KY, passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2016,at the Russell County Hospital, Russell Springs, KY.

A Celebration of Life Service for Mary Eva will be Saturday, February 27, 2016, 1pmCT, at the Jamestown Christian Church, 66 S Main Street, Jamestown, KY with Bro. Jason Walters, and Bro. Tony Stephens officiating.



Mary Eva Krueger, 87, Russell Co., KY (1928-2016)


Mary Eva was born in Jamestown, Russell County, KY, on Wednesday, December 26, 1928. She was a daughter of the late Audrey (McFarland) and Arthur Lester. She died in Russell Springs, Russell County, KY, Tuesday, February 23, 2016, at the age of 87 years, one month, and 28 days.

Mary Eva is survived by:
  • Two daughters, Karen Heller, of Andover, KS, and Nancy Ford, of Russell Springs, KY

  • One son, Kurt Krueger, of Winnabow, NC

  • Eight grandchildren

  • Six great grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Lloyd Krueger, and two brothers Robert and Kenneth Lester.
