She had made a profession of faith in Christ, and was a homemaker. She was born in Center, Metcalfe County, KY, was a resident of Jefferson County, KY, at the time of her death, and will be laid to rest in her native town. She was the daughter of the late Floyd London and Lora London. She leaves 13 direct living descendants.

Mrs. Dottie Ann Russell Walton, 79, of Pewee Valley, Kentucky, daughter of the late Floyd London and Lora London, departed this life on Monday, February 8, 2016 at the Norton Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville, KY.

The funeral services for Mrs. Dottie Russell Walton will be conducted at 10amCT, Saturday, February 13, 2016 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S Main Street, Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the Center Cemetery. Bro. Randall Grey will be officiating. Visitation is requested from 4pmCT until 8pmCT, Friday, February 12, 2016, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7amCT, Saturday until time of the funeral service.



Pallbearers: Benny Judd, Larry Judd, Joe Judd, Mike London, Tommy London, and Larry Slinker.

Dottie Russell Walton, 79, Metcalfe Co., KY native (1936-2016)

Mrs. Dottie Ann Russell Walton of Pewee Valley, Kentucky, daughter of the late Floyd London and Lora London, was born on April 5, 1936 in Center, Metcalfe County, Kentucky, and departed this life on Monday, February 8, 2016 at the Norton Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY. She was 79 years, 10 months and three days of age.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ, and was a homemaker.

She united in marriage to Donald Russell who preceded her in death. She later united in marriage to Fred Walton who also preceded her in death.

Survivors include:
  • A son and daughter-in-law: Daryl Ray and Sharon Russell of Louisville, KY

  • Three grandchildren: David Ray Russell, Amanda Kay White and her husband, Tony, William Kyle Russell and his wife, Kathy all of Louisville, KY

  • Nine great-grandchildren

  • And a host of other relatives and friends
Mrs. Walton was also preceded in death by a daughter: Beverly Renae Slinker.
