Margie Oliver, 97, of Jamestown, KY passed away Thursday, February 4, 2016, at the Fair Oaks Nursing Home, Jamestown, KY.

Funeral Services for Margie Oliver will be at 2pmCT, Sunday, February 7, 2016, at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 N Main Street, Jamestown, KY with Bro. Rod Lawless officiating. Friends may visit after 12pmNoonCT, on Sunday, at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Bledsoe Cemetery, in Jamestown, KY.

Margie was born in Jamestown, Russell County, KY, on June 7, 1918, a daughter of the late Bernice (Ross) and Elmer Reeder. She died Thursday, February 4, 2016, in Jamestown, Russell County, KY, at the age of 97 years, seven months, and 28 days.

She was a homemaker and the widow of Ray Oliver.

She is survived by the following:
  • A brother: Gale Reeder, of Elizabethtown, KY

  • A host of nieces and nephews
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Ray Oliver; daughter Ruth Oliver; five sisters, Guana Reeder, Rachel Miracle, Irene Conaster, Beulah Reagan, Christine Rawlings; and three brothers, Johnny, Coba and Donald Reeder.
