Mr. John Richard Moore, age 77, of Greensburg, KY, passed away on Sunday, January 31, 2016, at the Glasgow State Nursing Facility, KY.

The funeral services for Mr. John Richard Moore will be conducted at 1pmCT, Wednesday, February 3, 2016, at the Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S Main Street, Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the Liberty Separate Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation is requested 4pm until 8pmCT, Tuesday, February 2, 2016, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7amCT, Wednesday until time of the funeral service.



John Richard Moore, 77, Green County, KY (1938-2016)

He was born August 19, 1938. He died Sunday, January 31, 2016, in Glasgow, Barren County, KY, at the age of 77 years, five months, and 12 days.

He is survived by his wife, Lillian Trowbridge Moore, of Greensburg, KY, and the following:
  • A son & daughter-in-law: Richard & Pam Moore of Campbellsville, KY

  • A daughter & son-in-law: Melissa & Tracy Young of Greensburg, KY

  • Three grandchildren: Trevor and Marsha Young of Greensburg, KY; and John Moore and Kyle Moore, both of Campbellsville, KY

  • A sister: Hazel Milam of Louisville, KY

  • A sister-in-law: Shelby Moore of Greensburg, KY

  • A brother-in-law: Gwuin Curry of Henry County, KY
Family has requested that memorial donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association, which can be made at the funeral home.
