Adair Co. School Board re-elects Floyd Burton as chair for 2016

Quin Lasley re-elected vice chair; Mr. Reed secretary of the board; Jeff Hoover given new four year contract as Board Attorney

Familiar faces will remain at the helm of the Adair County Board of Education, as board members voted 4-0 to re-elect Floyd Burton (Div 4) as Board Chair, and Quin Lasley (Div 2) vice chair, and 5-0 to re-elect Superintendent Alan W. Reed to continue as Board Secretary. Both Mr. Burton and Ms. Lasley abstained from voting for themselves.




The board also voted 5-0 to elect Jeff Hoover to a new four-year term, 2016-2019, as Board Attorney.

The action was taken at the start of the special regular meeting of the board at 6pmCT, Thu 28 Jan 2017, with all members the board, Burton, Lasley, Lisa Burton (3), Terry Harvey (1) and Mike Harris (5) present.
