Sue Clements, Casey County, KY (1938-2016)

She loved nature, gardening and reading, especially the Bible. She was a member of Rich Hill Christian Church. She enjoyed her family and always spoiled her grandkids.

Sue Clements, age 77, of Indianapolis, IN formerly of Casey County, passed away on Thursday January 7, 2016 at Community North Hospital surrounded by her family.

Funeral Services will be held 12pmNoonCT/1pmET Sunday January 17 , 2016 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel, 142 KY 49, Liberty, KY. Burial will be in the Rich Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held 4pm-7pmCT/5pm-8pmET, Saturday January 16, 2016 and after 8amCT/9amETSunday January 17, 2016 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel.



Sue Clements, Casey County, KY (1938-2016)


She was born in Casey County, KY on August 26, 1938. She was the daughter of the late Claud and Bannie Parton Buis. She died Thursday, January 7, 2016, in Indianapolis, Marion County, IN, at the age of 77 years, four months, and 12 days.


She was the widow of Lilburn Clements.

She was a former employee of RCA and a former sales representative of Mary Kay. She loved nature, gardening and reading especially the Bible. She was a member of Rich Hill Christian Church. She enjoyed her family and always spoiled her grandkids.

Survivors include:
  • Two Children: Alan Clements and Angela (Robert) Suehrstedt both of Indianapolis, IN,

  • Two Grandchildren: Jamie and Dylan Suehrstedt of Indianapolis, IN,

  • Three Brother: Harold and (Margie) Buis of Yosemite, Sterling and (Ruby) Buis and Glen Buis both of Liberty,

  • Four Sisters: Ethel Mae and (Brent) Smith of Liberty, Carol and (Jimmy) Loy of Jamestown, Louise and (Bill) Rodgers of Greensburg and Debbie and (Carl) McAninch of Liberty,

  • Sisters-in-law, Charlsie Buis of Liberty and Sue Buis of Bethelridge and several nephews and nieces.
Also preceding her in death besides her parents and spouse were: Three Brothers: Claude Lynn, Vernon and Earl Buis and a Nephew: Gary Buis.
