Death at Lincoln Village Juvenile Detention Center being investigated

Incident occurs at KY Department of Corrections Elizabethtown facility.

FRANKFORT, KY (11 Jan 2016) - The Kentucky Department of Juvenile Justice is investigating the death of a female youth at Lincoln Village Regional Juvenile Detention Center who was found unresponsive at the facility early this morning.

Initial details surrounding this tragedy are still being investigated by the Kentucky Department of Juvenile Justice. State and local law enforcement are also conducting an investigation. - News from Commonwealth News Center
