Danny Lee (Dan) Dunbar, 75, Russell Springs, KY (1940-2015)

He was a carpenter and a member of French Valley United Methodist Church. He was a native of Russell County, KY, and a resident of the county at the time of his death. He was the son of the lage Benfer & Captola Fox Dunbar. his wife, Jerrie Lou Hurt Dunbar, survives. He leaves 15 direct living descendants.

Danny Lee "Dan" Dunbar, 75, of Russell Springs, died Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at the Clinton County Care & Rehab Center in Albany, Ky.

Memorial service for Danny Lee "Dan" Dunbar will be at NoonCT on Saturday, December 26, 2015, at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 North Main Street Russell Springs, KY. Bro. Barry Bradshaw will officiate. Visitation will be after 11amCT on Saturday.

Mr. Dunbar was born March 21, 1940 in Russell County, KY. He was the son of the late Benfer & Captola Fox Dunbar. He died Wednesday, December 23, 2015, in Albany, Clinton, KY, at the age of 75 years, nine months, and two days.

He was a carpenter and a member of French Valley United Methodist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Dormus Dale Dunbar.

Mr. Dunbar is survived by:
  • His wife, Jerrie Lou Hurt Dunbar, Russell Springs, KY
  • Three sons, Barry (Tiffany) Dunbar, Columbus, Indiana; Mark Dunbar, Russell Springs; Todd Dunbar, Russell Springs,KY
  • Eight grandchildren
  • Four great grandchildren
  • One brother, Danny Foster, South Carolina
  • Two sisters, Peggy Baugh, Lexington; Connie Blankenship, Jamestown
