Mrs. Dorothy Corbin Petty, lifelong Adair Countian (1934-2015)

'At the age of 20, she devoted her life to her best friend Malcolm Petty, and together they shared over 37 years of marriage before his passing. She professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith. She took great pride in her family and cherished the times they spent together. Always gracious, she rarely asked for things for herself, preferring instead to give to others. Mrs. Petty loved to find beauty and peace in both people and nature. Some of her favorite pastimes were sitting outside with her neighbors and watching the redbirds around her bird feeders, then going back inside to share stories and jewelry.'
