Henry Spears age 76 of Burkesville, KY passed away on Friday, December 11, 2015 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green, KY.

Funeral Service will be Sunday, December 13, 2015 at 2pmCT,. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N Main Street, Burkesville, KY with burial in Poplar Grove Cemetery. Family requests visitation after 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home.



Henry Spears, 76, Burkesville, KY (1939-2015)


Henry was born on March 24, 1939 in Cumberland County, KY. He was the son of the late Charlie and Inis Huddleston Spears. He died Friday, December 11, 2015, in Bowling Green, Warren County, KY, at the age of 76 years, eight months, and 17 days.

He was a member of Spears Chapel Community Church.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Hilda Marie Bow Spears, one sister, Rachel Riley, and two brothers, Vernon Spears and Virgil Spears. Survivors include:
  • One brother: Etchel Spears of Burkesville, KY

  • One sister: Hazel Moore of Burkesville, KY

  • Four Stepsons: Richard Bow of Detroit, Alabama, Lonnie Bow of Moss, TN, Randall Bow of Celina, TN, and James Bow of Burkesville, KY

  • Two stepdaughters: Martha Spears, and Marlene Spears both of Burkesville, KY

  • And a host of other relatives and friends
