Annette Murrell Scott of Louisville, Kentucky, a native of Adair County, daughter of the late James A. Murrell and Cleo P. Stotts Murrell was born on September 2, 1940 in Adair County, and departed this life on December 6, 2015 at her home. She was 75 years, three months, and four days of age.

The funeral services for Annette Murrell Scott were held 11amCT/12pmNoonET, Thursday, December 10, 2015 at the O.D. White & Sons Funeral Home, 2727 S. Third Street, Louisville, Kentucky 40208 with burial to follow in the Green County Memory Gardens in Summersville, Kentucky. Visitation was requested after 9amCT/10amET, Thursday at the O.D. White & Sons Funeral Home until time of the funeral service.

Annette Murrell Scott of Louisville, Kentucky, a native of Adair County, KY, daughter of the late James A. Murrell and Cleo P. Stotts Murrell, was born on September 2, 1940 in Adair County, KY; and departed this life on December 6, 2015 at her home. She was 75 years, three months, and four days of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ at a young age and was of the Methodist faith. She was retired from Kentuckiana Food Service.

Survivors include:
  • A sister: Yvonne Gibson of Louisville, KY

  • Two daughters and a son-in-law: Teresa A. Scott McHargue of Louisville, KY; and Beverly S. "Susie" and Hugh McGuire of Greensburg, KY

  • Two sons and daughters-in-law: Jeffrey C. "Bubby" and Vickie Scott of Greensburg, KY; and Mark A. and Nancy Scott of Louisville, KY

  • Six grandchildren: Shannon Helton, Joshua K. Byrd Scott, Ricky D. McHargue, Jr., Dawn McGuire Corbin, Tamala McGuire Curry, Jeffrey C. Scott, Jr.

  • Ten great-grandchildren.
Ms. Scott was also preceded in death by her daughter: Angela Jo Scott; son-in-law: Ricky DeWayne McHargue, Sr.; three brothers and four sisters.
