Curtis David Boswell, 75, Metcalfe County, KY (1939-2015)

Curtis was an engineer most of his life and retired from Boswell Packaging Consultant. Worked for a number of years for Klockner/Korber Medipak. He was member and very active in Christ the Healer Catholic Church. Curtis was a very talented wood worker and could fix almost anything. He loved his small farm and cattle. He was a dedicated husband and father and helped anyone in need. Curtis graduated from Brighton County High School in 1958. He was a past board member of Edmonton-Metcalfe County Chamber of Commerce and a Spirit of Western award recipient.

Curtis David Boswell of Edmonton was born December 6, 1939 in Tipton County Tennessee and departed this life December 4, 2015 at The Medical Center in Bowling Green. Services will be held 11amCT, Monday, December 7, 2015, at Christ the Healer Catholic Church, 1601 East Stockton Street, Edmonton, KY. Visitation will be Sunday, December 6, 2015, from 5pm until 8pmCT, at Butler Funeral Home, 201 East Street, Edmonton, KY and after 9amCT, Monday at the church. Memorial donations may be made to the church.

  • Daughters: Beth Hallmark (Ron) of Franklin, TN; Dawn Overstreet of Murfreesboro, TN; Gail Porter (Tim) of Mt Juliet, TN; and Alex Boswell (Partner, Alex Chen) of Lexington, KY

  • Siblings: Emery Jr. Boswell, Jean Troiano, Atrell Jackson, Ruth Leone, Helen Donelson, Paulette Houston and Ann Scoleri

  • Grandchildren: Richard Stephen (Grace) Powlus, Alyssa Powlus, Zackery (Kaden) Overstreet, Justin (Sara) Boswell, Timothy, Erin, Lucille and Matt Porter, Forrest Hallmark and Shannon Hallmark
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Lucille; brothers, Thurston, Billy Carl and Gordon; a sister, Mildred Hart and a son-in-law, Leon Overstreet.
