Funeral Services for Mr. Otis Odell Sherer will be conducted on Friday, December 4, 2015 at 11amCT, in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home, 601 N Main Street, Burkesville, KY, with Bro. Nickie Richards officiating. Burial will be in the White Hill Cemetery near Breeding, KY. The family will receive friends after 2pmCT, on Thursday until the funeral hour on Friday. Mr. Otis Odell Sherer, 82, Cumberland Co., KY (1933-2015) He was born in Cumberland County, Kentucky on Sunday, June 4, 1933 the son of Bryant and Erman York Sherer. He died Wednesday, December 2, 2015, in Burkesville, Cumberland County, KY, at the age of 82 years, five months, and 29 days. He was of the Methodist Faith, was a farmer and painter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Johnny Elmer Sherer; sister, Nora Kathleen York; brother, Roy Ragle; and step-mother, Citi Sherer. He is survived by his wife, Ella Mae Murray Sherer, of Burkesville, Kentucky, and the following:
