Funeral service will be Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at 1pmCT, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY. Clergy officiating Bro. David Coffey Interment in Cane Valley Cemetery, 135 Cane Valley Cemetery Road, Cane Valley, KY. Visitation after 4pmCT, Tuesday, November 24, 2015. Pallbearers: James Walker, Randall Williams, Scotty Williams, Bobby Willis, Craig Sneed, and Robert Noegel


Judy Stearns, 68, Cane Valley, KY (1947-2015)

She was born on August 18, 1947 at Breeding, Adair County, KY. She was the daughter of Noah & Pauline Polston Jessie. She died Monday, November 23, 2015, in Bowling Green, Warren County, KY, at the age of 68 years, three months, and five days.

She is survived by her Norman Stearns of Cane Valley, KY and the following:
  • Daughter: Susan Stearns Willis and husband Bobby of Cane Valley, KY

  • Two sisters: Dee Sneed & husband Junior of Columbia, KY; and Shirley Baldwin & husband Miles of Pinehurst, NC

  • One brother: Roger Dale Jessie & wife Mary Ann of Dayhoit, KY

  • One grandson: Bobby Allen Willis

  • One special great aunt: Audrey Carney of Columbia, KY

  • Several nieces, nephews and friends survive
She was a member of New Hope Separate Baptist Church and was a Home Health Aid.
