Another was airlifted to Kosair Children's Hospital with serious injuries Click on headline for complete story By Tpr Jeff Gregory, Public Information Officer Kentucky State Police Post 4, Elizabethtown, KY ELIZABETHTOWN, KY – Kentucky State Police Post 4 in Elizabethtown is investigating a single vehicle accident that occurred last night in the 2200 block of Rineyville-Big Springs Road d (KY220).< On 22 Nov 2015 at approximately 8:05amET, Danielle Yates (36) of Rineyville and four juvenile passengers were traveling eastbound on KY 220 in a 1992 Oldsmobile 98 Regency. For unknown reasons, the vehicle left the roadway striking a guardrail causing it to overturn and land in a nearby creek on its top. The passengers in the vehicle were able to escape or were extricated by non-mechanical means. Ms. Yates and two juvenile passengers were taken to Hardin Memorial Hospital, Elizabethtown, KY, with minor injuries. Two other juvenile passengers were also injured. One was airlifted to Kosair Children's Hospital in Louisville with serious injuries. The other was taken to Hardin Memorial Hospital with serious injuries. KSP was assisted on the scene by the Hardin Co. Sheriff’s Office, Hardin Co. EMS and the Rineyville Volunteer Fire Department. The accident is still under investigation.
