Mrs. Frances Nadene (Clements) Sears, 59, Campbellsville, KY (1956-2015)

Mrs. Sears was a homemaker. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and attended various churches throughout her life. She was the beloved mother of two children, the cherished grandmother of 11, and a proud great-grandmother to two.

Mrs. Frances Nadene (Clements) Sears, 59, Campbellsville, KY departed this life on November 21, 2015 at her home in Campbellsville surrounded by her family and friends.

There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Sears on Friday, November 27, 2015, at 12pmCT/1pmET, in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY 42718. Her eulogy will be delivered by her brother, Clarence Clements, Jr. Interment will follow in the Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery, 3085 Linnie Rheber Road, Liberty, KY 42539. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, November 27, from 10amCT/11amET until time for the service.

Mrs. Frances Nadene (Clements) Sears was born on November 6, 1956 to the late Clarence and Sarah Orthy (Cain) Clements in Casey County. She departed this life on November 21, 2015 at her home in Campbellsville surrounded by her family and friends. She was 59 years and 15 days of age.

Mrs. Sears was a homemaker. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and attended various churches throughout her life. She was the beloved mother of two children, the cherished grandmother of 11, and a proud great-grandmother to 2.

She leaves to carry her legacy:
  • One son: Micah Sears and wife Samantha of Campbellsville, KY

  • One daughter: Chasity Simpson and husband Raymond of Campbellsville, KY

  • Five siblings: Elmer "Red" Wilson and wife Nancy of Florida, Norma Faye Skaggs and husband Randy also of Florida, Joyce M. Blair of Liberty, KY; Clarence Clements, Jr. and wife Lori of Danville, KY; and Louise Grimes and husband Ronnie of Liberty, KY

  • Eleven grandchildren

  • Two great-grandchildren

  • A close niece: Vicki Jo Middleton of Campbellsville, KY

  • A special friend: Myra Brown of Greensburg, KY

  • And a host of other family and friends.
Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Mitch Elements, a sister, Nina Vanoy, and two grandchildren, Natalie Edwards and Samantha Simpson.

in lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials take the form of donations to the funeral expenses. Those can be made online or in person at the funeral home in charge of arrangements, L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY 42718.
