Adair Schools preparing for possible countywide Boil Water Projected countywide boil water advisory would affect all Adair County Schools. Bottled water will be available. Thanksgiving meal will be served. Students will be allowed to bring bottle water from home, if Boil Water Advisory is issued. Received 12:33pmCT. Posted at 12:44pmCT From Supt. Alan W. Reed, Adair County School District We have been advised of the likelihood of a boil water advisory affecting the entire county tomorrow, Thursday October 19, 2015. Our school district will also be affected. Please be advised that we will shut off the water fountains and cooking supply water. We will also supply bottled water for our students to drink. I would like to let parents know that it is okay for students to bring their own extra bottle of water with them tomorrow, but it cannot be opened while being transported by the bus. The boil water advisory will not affect our traditional Thanksgiving meal of turkey and the trimming that we have planned to serve tomorrow. Sincerely, - Alan W. Reed, Superintendent Adair County Schools, 1204 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY 42728 270-384-2476 This story was posted on 2015-11-18 12:23:59
