Lillian Agnes Jeffries, Savoyard, KY (1922-2015)

She was a member of the Savoyard Baptist Church and a homemaker. She was the daughter of the late Millie & Laura Ferguson Johnson and the widow of Wilmoth Jeffries. She was the matriarch of a highly regarded North Metcalfe County Family. She leaves four direct living descendants and six step descendants.

Lillian Agnes Jeffries age 93 of Savoyard, Kentucky died Friday, November 06, 2015 at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow. Funeral services will be held 1pmCT, Monday, November 9, 2015, at Savoyard Baptist Church with burial in the Jeffries Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2pmCT until 8pmCT, Sunday, November 8, 2015, at Butler Funeral Home, 201 East Street, Edmonton, KY; and after 10amCT, Monday, at the church.

She was the daughter of the late Millie and Laura Ferguson Johnson. She was born August 4, 1922. She died Friday, November 6, 2015, in Glasgow, Barren County, KY, at the age of 93 years, three months, and two days.

She was a homemaker and member of the Savoyard Baptist Church.

She is survived by the following:
  • One son: Larry and wife Mavis Jeffries of Savoyard, KY

  • Two grandsons: Brent and wife Terri Jeffries of Glasgow, KY; and David and wife Leisa Jeffries of Savoyard, KY

  • One grand daughter: Kathy and husband Danny Smith of Savoyard, KY

  • Three step great grandsons

  • Three step great great grandchildren

  • And a great host of friends and relatives to mourn her passing
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Wilmoth in 1994; three brothers, Travis, Wayne and Dee Johnson; and two sisters, Florence Greer and Lovie Jeffries.
