Mrs. Murphy was a member and former Sunday School Secretary for the Walnut Hill Separate Baptist Church. She was a former store clerk at Hill's and a former Teacher's Aid for the Casey County School System. She was 91. Funeral services will be held at 1pmCT/2pmET, Saturday, November 7, 2015, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home. 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Rodney Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Murphy Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9am-1pmCT/10am-2pmET, on Saturday. Pallbearers will be Ken Lay, John Rudolph, Greg Yaden, Isaac Lay, Casey Patterson, and Aaron Clinkenbeard. Honorary pallbearers will be Jett and Jack Rudolph. Mrs. Murphy was preceded in death by her brothers: Oris, Gid, and Clovis Elliott and sisters: Irene Spears, Cloma Murphy, and Pauline Pittman Estes. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Gideon Bibles.
