Ray Luttrell passed away Sunday, November 1, 2015 at his home in Windsor, KY. He was 80.

Funeral services are 10amCT, Thursday, November 5, 2015 at Steinke Funeral Home, 403 N Front Street, Rensselaer, IN with Bro. Ron Hause officiating. Burial will follow in Demotte Cemetery in Demotte, Indiana. Visitation is Wednesday, November 4, 2015, 4pm-8pmCT, at Steinke Funeral Home.



Ray Luttrell, Windsor, KY (1935-2015)


Born April 2, 1935 in Casey County, KY, he was the son of the late Everett and Lula Luttrell. He died Sunday, November 1, 2015, in Rensselaer, IN, at the age of 80 years, five months, and 30 days.

Ray was a farmer and worked in construction. He was of the Apostolic Pentecostal faith.

Survivors include:
  • Three sons: Tim (and Belinda) Luttrell of Rensselaer, Indiana; Jeff (and Janey) Luttrell of Hobart, Indiana; and Mike (and Kelly) Luttrell of Windsor, KY

  • A daughter, Melonie (and John) Igoe of Oak Island, North Carolina

  • Ten grandchildren

  • Twenty-three great-grandchildren

  • A brother: Curtis (and Peggy) Luttrell of Russell Springs, KY

  • And numerous nieces and nephews
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Margaret "Peg" Cain Luttrell; and a son, Wilbur Ray Luttrell.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the family to offset funeral expenses.
