She was a native of Laurel County, KY, and a resident of Russell County, KY, at the time of her death. She was the daughter of the late Wes & Minnie Goforth Hale. Her husband, Wayne Lynch, survives. She leaves eight direct living descendants

Wilma Jean Lynch, 69, of Russell Springs, KY, died Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at the Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset, KY.

Funeral service for Wilma Jean Lynch will be 1pmCT, Friday, October 30, 2015 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 N Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Bobby Dunbar officiating. Visitation will be after 11amCT, Friday, at Bernard Funeral Home. Interment will be in the McBeath Cemetery, in Russell Springs, KY.



Wilma Jean Lynch, 69, Russell County, KY (1946-2015)


She was born March 10, 1946 in Laurel County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Wes & Minnie Goforth Hale. She died Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at the Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset, Pulaski County, KY, at the age of 69 years, seven months, and 17 days.

She was a former employee of Superior Battery and attended Coffey's Chapel United Methodist Church.

Survivors include the following:
  • Husband: Wayne Lynch, Russell Springs, KY

  • Two children: Lonnie Dean Burdine, Russell Springs, KY, and Sherrie Burdine (Mark) Beard, Liberty, KY

  • Four grandchildren: Rachel Burdine, Wyatt Burdine, John Luke Beard, and Sarah Ruth Beard

  • Two great grandchildren

  • One brother: Sylvester Hale, London, KY
