Roy Mace, Sr., 71, of Campbellsville died Thursday, October 22, 2015 at Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville, KY.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1pmCT/2pmET, Saturday, October 24, 2015, at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home with burial at Campbellsville Memorial Gardens, 700 Old U.S. 68, Campbellsville, KY. The family requests visitation after 1amCT/12pmNoonCT, on Saturday until time for the funeral.

He was born March 17, 1944 in Columbus, Bartholomew County, Indiana. He was the son of to Harold and Nellie Hickey Mace. He died Thursday, October 22, 2015, in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 71 years, seven months, and five days.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Freda in 2013.

He is survived by the following:
  • His children: Roy Mace, II, Victoria Mace, James Mace and his wife, Daphne and Russell Mace all of Columbus, IN; Ida Yeadon and her husband, Johnny of Russell Springs, KY; Stacey Strong of Campbellsville, KY; Naline Mace of Butlerville, IN, and Roy Mace III of Hopkins County, KY

  • Seventeen grandchildren

  • And brothers: Bobby Mace and his wife, Patty and Jimmy Mace of Florida
