She was the daughter of the late George Russell & Mary Magdalene Cabbell Pierce. She died Tuesday, October 20, 2015, in Paoli, Orange County, Indiana, at the age of 89 years, 10 months, and 22 days. She was preceded in death by her husband James Walter Richards on May 23, 1989; by one son, Coy Richards; one brother George Richards; and two sisters, Elizabeth Richards and Maxine Richards.
