Daryl had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Oak Grove Separate Baptist Church. He was a Restoration Masonry Contractor and a farmer. Besides his father, he is preceded in death by one sister: Glenda Dixon. He is a member of the Greensburg Masonic Lodge F & AM and a beloved member of the White Tail Lodge in Grab.

Daryl A. Mars, 58, departed this life Saturday, October 10, 2015 at his home in the Grab Community of Green County, KY.

The funeral service will be at 1pmCT, Wednesday, October 14, 2015, at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home, 209 W Court Street, Greensburg, KY, with Bro. Ricky Arnett the officiating clergy. Interment will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery, Grab, KY. Visitation will be 2pm-8pmCT, Tuesday, October 13, 2015, at the funeral home.

Daryl A. Mars was born April 11, 1957 in Barren County, KY. He was the son of Frances Wright Mars and the late Ausbon Arlon "Bill" Mars. He departed this life Saturday, October 10, 2015 at his home in the Grab Community of Green County, having attained the age of 58 years, five months and 29 days.

Daryl had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Oak Grove Separate Baptist Church. He was a Restoration Masonry Contractor and a farmer. Besides his father, he is preceded in death by one sister: Glenda Dixon. He is a member of the Greensburg Masonic Lodge F & AM and a beloved member of the White Tail Lodge in Grab.

He is survived by the following:
  • His mother: Frances Wright Mars, Greensburg, KY

  • One sister and brother-in-law: Carolyn and Doug Robertson, Greensburg, KY

  • One brother-in-law: Paul Dixon, all of Greensburg, KY

  • Four nieces: Amber and Britt Pegram of Greensburg, KY; Breanna Robertson of Taylor County, KY; Nicole and Roger Thurman of Columbia, KY; and Amanda Parks of Greensburg, KY.

  • Three great nieces and three great nephews

  • And his significant other: Beth Hoy of Greensburg, KY
