Jarrod Sharp, Junction City, KY (1974-2015)

He was a box machine operator for American Greetings and a member of Danville First Church of God. Jarrod was an avid fan of the Louisville Cardinals and he loved the Boyle County Rebels. He was the son of Carloln and Ivadean Streeval Sharp. His wife of 18 years, Sheila Kegley Sharp, survives. He leaves one direct living descendant, a son, Justin Sharp of Junction City, KY.

Jarrod Sharp passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at his home in Junction City, KY. He was 41.

Funeral services are 10amCT/11amET, Friday, October 9, 2015 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Kevin Cummins officiating. Burial will follow in Brush Creek Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday, October 8, 2015, 4pm-7pmCT/5pm-8pmET at the funeral home.



Jarrod Sharp, Junction City, KY (1974-2015)


Born February 2, 1974 in Franklin, Johnson County, Indiana, he was the son of Carlon and Ivadean Streeval Sharp of Junction City, Boyle County, KY. He died Tuesday, October 6, 2015, in Junction City, KY, at the age of 41 years, eight months, and four days.

He was a box machine operator for American Greetings and a member of Danville First Church of God. Jarrod was an avid fan of the Louisville Cardinals and he loved the Boyle County Rebels.

Additional survivors include his wife, Sheila Kegley Sharp, whom he married November 9, 1996, and the following:
  • A son: Justin Sharp of Junction City, KY

  • Maternal grandmother: Lucille Streeval of Liberty, KY

  • A brother: Troy (and Shannon) Sharp of Liberty
He is preceded in death by a daughter, Hannah Sharp.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the Danville Church of God Building Fund, 3220 Harrodsburg Road, Danville, KY 40422.
