Perkins of Green County, Kentucky, was the son of the late Elmer Willis Perkins and Dorothy Estelline Talbert Perkins. He was born on November 17, 1941 in Henry County, Illinois, and departed this life on Friday, October 2, 2015 at his home in Green County. He was 73 years, 10 months, and 15 days of age. He had made a profession of faith in Christ, was an Archeologist for the Center for American Archeology at North Western University, and a member of the Green County Genealogy Society .
