He was an employee of Dairy Queen in Campbellsville, KY. Matt was a fun loving young man who loved the outdoors, hunting, riding his dirt bike and spending time with family and friends.

Matt Clark, 17, of Campbellsville, KY, died at 10:11pmET, Friday, October 2, 2015, in Campbellsville as the result of a motor vehicle accident.

Funeral services will be at 12pmNoonCT/1pmET, Tuesday, October 6, 2015, at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY, by Pastor Wayne Brooks and Rev. Tom Clark. Visitation will be 3pm-7pmCT/4pm-8pmET, Monday, October 5, 2015 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home. Burial will be in Brookside Cemetery, W Main Street, Campbellsville, KY.


Pallbearers: Jared Burton, Payton Clark, Wade Clark, Madison Isaacs, Briar McVay, Chase Richerson, and Zach Richerson.

Matt Clark was the son of John Clark and Tracy Richardson Clark. He was born in Marion County, Kentucky, Monday, May 11, 1998. He died a Friday, October 2, 2015, in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 17 years, four months, and 21 days.

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Matt was a senior at Taylor County High School and set to graduate in 2016. He was an employee of Dairy Queen in Campbellsville, KY. Matt was a fun loving young man who loved the outdoors, hunting, riding his dirt bike, and spending time with family and friends.

Besides his parents, John and Tracy Clark, Campbellsville, KY, he is survived by the following:
  • One brother: Luke Clark, Campbellsville, KY

  • Paternal grandparents: Barbara and Dick Clark, Campbellsville, KY

  • Maternal grandparents: Maurice and Kathy Richardson, Campbellsville, KY

  • Maternal great-grandparents: Ruth Richardson and Odell and Charlotte Callahan, Campbellsville, KY

  • An uncle and aunt: Aaron and Mary Russell Clark, Campbellsville, KY

  • As well as many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his great grandparents: Mildred and Bob Clark, Arvel and Christine Cox and L.C. Richardson. Send condolences to the family of Matt Clark
