Funeral service will be Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at 1pmCT, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Darrell Landis & Bro. Bobby Withers officiating. Burial will be in Columbia Cemetery, 315 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY. Visitation will be after 4pmCT, Monday, September 7, 2015, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home.

She was born September 18, 1953, in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY. She died Thursday, September 3, 2015, in Columbia, Adair County, KY, at the age of 61 years, 11 months, and 16 days.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Doug Kerns. She was a former Operating Room Technician at Baptist East Hospital.

Survivors include:
  • Her mother: Dorothy Kerns of Columbia, KY

  • Two daughters: Cindy Ford of Columbia, KY; and Sherry Corbin of Greensburg

  • One son: Alfred Corbin, Jr. of Louisville, KY

  • One sister: Debbie (Andy) Withers of Columbia, KY

  • Two brothers: Terry (Wanda) Kerns of Columbia, KY; & Steve Kerns of Knifley, KY

  • Ten grandchildren

  • And one great-grandson
