She was the daughter of the late Grady Hicks Bumpus, and Dorothy Louise Justice Bumpus. She died Saturday, August 29, 2015, in Owensboro, Daviess County, KY, at the age of 58 years, seven months, and 30 days. She was united in marriage to Ronnie Dale Scott on August 06, 1977, and lived in B. Scott Hollow. Joyce had worked at Oshkosh B'Gosh in Marrowbone, KY, and was a longtime member of Faith Bible Church in Burkesville, KY. She enjoyed cooking, canning, fishing, sewing, and spending time with her children. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Ronnie in 2007, and her siblings, David Bumpus, Patricia McKinney, Kenneth Bumpus, Bobby Bumpus, and Darrell Cowles.
