Jack Pierce, 62, Burkesville, KY (1953-2015)

He was a former mechanic and a was a member of Burkesville First Christian Church. He was a native of Henry County, IN, and a resident of Cumberland County, KY at the time of his death. He was the son of the late Christopher & Verda Pierce. His wife, Rita Whitehead Pierce, survives. He leaves four direct living descendants. He will be laid to rest in Clay County, TN.

Jack Pierce age 62 of Burkesville, KY passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2015 at Cumberland County Hospital, Burkesville, KY.

Funeral service will be Sunday, August 23, 2015 at 1:30pmCT, at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main Street, Burkesville, KY with Rev. Paul W. Patton officiating. Burial will be in the Moss Cemetery in Clay County, TN. The family requests visitation on Saturday, August 22, 2015 from 4pmCT until 9pmCT, at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home.

Jack was born in New Castle, Henry County, IN, on Thursday, June 25, 1953. He was the son of the late Christopher & Verda Pierce. He died Thursday, August 20, 2015, in Burkesville, Cumberland County, KY, at the age of 62 years, 1 month, and 26 days.

He was a former mechanic and a was a member of Burkesville First Christian Church. Survivors include the following:
  • His wife: Rita Whitehead Pierce of Burkesville, KY

  • Four children

  • One sister

  • And a host of friends
