Mr. Robert Dolan McKinney, Green Co., KY (1930-2015)

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Community Baptist Church. He was a former assemblyman for General Electric, and was a member of the Greensburg Masonic Lodge #54 F&AM. He was the son of the late Aubrey McKinney and Audrey McKinney. His wife, Nadine McKinney, survives. He leaves four direct living descendants.

Mr. Robert Dolan McKinney, 85 of Greensburg, KY, departed this life on Friday, August 14, 2015 at the Jane Todd Crawford Hospital in Greensburg.

The funeral services for Mr. Robert Dolan McKinney will be conducted at 11amCT, Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S Main Street, Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the Greasy Creek Cemetery. Bro. Mark Lile will be officiating. There will also be a Masonic Service held at 7pmCT, Tuesday, August 18, 2015, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, all master masons are requested to meet at the Greensburg Masonic Lodge #54 F&AM at 6pmCT, Tuesday. Visitation is requested 5pm-8pmCT, Tuesday, August 18, 2015, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7amCT, Wednesday until time of the funeral service.



Pallbearers: Tony Metzroth, Jeremy Nunn, Johnny Metzroth, Barry Matney Brady Matney, and Ty Puckett.

Honorary pallbearers: Joey Houk, Tommy Ray Pruitt, Gleason Matney, Margaret Houk, and Sunday School Class husbands and wives.

Mr. Robert Dolan McKinney of Greensburg, Green County, KY, son of the late Aubrey McKinney and Audrey McKinney, was born on Tuesday, July 1, 1930, and departed this life on Friday, August 14, 2015 at the Jane Todd Crawford Hospital in Greensburg, Green County, KY. He was 85 years, one month and 13 days of age.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Community Baptist Church. He was a former assemblyman for General Electric, and was a member of the Greensburg Masonic Lodge #54 F&AM.

Survivors include his wife, Nadine McKinney of Greensburg, KY, and the following:
  • A daughter: Carol McKinney Scott of Greensburg, KY
  • A granddaughter: Shannon Curry and her husband Milburn of Greensburg, KYTwo great-grandchildren: Skyler Curry and Noah Curry
  • Two sisters: Deanna Metzroth of Louisville, KY; and Donna Rae Roberts of Jabez, KY

  • And a host of other relatives and friends.
Mr. McKinney was also preceded in death by three brothers: Dennis McKinney, Doyle McKinney, and Boyce McKinney.
