She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Mt. Roberts Baptist Church. She was a native of Green County, KY, and a resident of Taylor County, KY, at the time of her death. She was the daughter of the late William M. "Billy" Munford, Jr. and Betty Durham Munford, and the widow of Bobby Beams. She leaves one direct living descendant, a daughter, Sami Jo Smith. She was a former employee of Euro Tan, worked in sales and was a homemaker.

Janie Munford Beams, 47, of Campbellsville, KY, died at 12:45pmET, Friday, August 14, 2015 in Campbellsville as a result of a motor vehicle accident.

The funeral service will be Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY, by Bro. Kyle Franklin. Burial will be in teh Brookside Cemetery, W Main Street, Campbellsville, KY. Visitation will be 4pm-7pmCT/5pm-8pmET, Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home

Janie Munford Beams of Campbellsville, KY, was the daughter of the late William M. "Billy" Munford, Jr. and Betty Durham Munford. She was born May 12, 1968, in Green County, KY. She died Friday, August 14, 2015 in Campbellsville, KY at the age of 47 years, three months, and two days.

She was a former employee of Euro Tan, worked in sales and was a homemaker.

She united in marriage to Bobby Beams, August 29, 2013.

Besides her husband, Bobby Beams she is survived by the following:
  • One daughter: Sami Jo Smith of Campbellsville, KY

  • One sister: Debbie Jo Scott of Austin, Texas

  • and many other relatives and friends
She was also preceded in death by one brother, David Lynn Munford June 4, 2010.
