Eugene Loy Dunbar, 80, Russell County, KY (1934-2015)

He was a native of Russell County, KY and his final resting place will be nterment in the Bernard Cemetery, Russell Springs, Russell County, KY, with full military honors. His career was as a foreman for General Motors. He was the son of the late Harley & Thelma Loy Dunbar. His wife, Adelene Dunbar, survives. He leaves four direct living descendants.

Eugene Loy Dunbar, 80, of Norwood, Ohio (formerly of Russell Springs), died Sunday, August 9, 2015 at the Jewish Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Funeral services will be 12:30pmCT Saturday, August 15, 2015 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 N Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Barry Clardy officiating. Visitation will be after 10:30amCT, Saturday. Interment will be in the Bernard Cemetery, Russell Springs, Russell County, KY, with full military honors



Eugene Loy Dunbar, 80, Russell County, KY (1934-2015)

Mr. Dunbar was born November 9, 1934 in Russell County, KY. He was the son of the late Harley & Thelma Loy Dunbar. He died Sunday, August 9, 2015, in Cincinnati, Ohio, at the age of 80 years, 10 months.

He was a foreman for General Motors.

Survivors include:
  • His wife: Adelene Dunbar

  • One daughter: Bambi (Joe) Pappano

  • Three grandchildren: Zach Jaspers, Eva Pappano, Luke Pappano

  • One brother: Randolph Dunbar

  • Four sisters: Anita Carpenter, Zada Riddle, Judith Zimmerman, and Jane Grider
