Wanda Carol May age 59 years of the Caldwell Ridge Community, Knifley, KY passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at 1:16amCT, at her home after an illness.

Funeral service Friday, August 7, 2015 at 11amCT, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY. Clergy officiating will and Bro. David Coffey and Bro. Junior Holmes. Interment in New Hope Cemetery, Columbia, KY. Visitation will be after 4:30pmCT, Thursday, August 6, 2015.

She was born January 7, 1956 in Taylor County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Thomas & Helen L. Adams Hatfield. She died Tuesday, August 4, 2015, in Knifley, Adair County, KY, at the age of 59 years, six months, and 28 days.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Thomas May, of Knifley, KY, and the following:
  • Two step-children: Kellie LeAnn Bunch & her husband Joe of Middletown, OH; and Dwayne May & his wife Lori of West Harrison, IN

  • One brother: Paul Hatfield & his wife Shelly of Gravel Switch, KY

  • One sister: Ruby Holmes & her husband Rollin of Columbia, KY

  • Brother-in-law: Bro. Junior Holmes a& his wife Ann of Columbia, KY

  • Four grandchildren: Gracie Bunch, Emma Bunch, Justin Thomas May and Ryan Thomas May

  • Several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends
Wanda was a member of New Hope Separate Baptist Church and housewife

She was preceded in death by two brothers & one sister Herman Hatfield, Ronnie Hatfield and Dorothy Holmes.
