Terry Curry, Taylor Co., KY (1958-2015)

He was a machine operator for General Electric. He was a member of the UK Football team in college and played with the 1976 Peach Bowl team. He was the son of Anna Lee Gaskin Curry, who survives, and the late James Hollis Curry. He leaves three direct living descendants.

Terry Curry, 57, husband of Darlene Branson Curry, passed away July 26, 2015.

Funeral service will be conducted at 12pmCT/1pmET, Thursday, July 30, 2015 at the Lyon-Dewitt-Berry Funeral Home, 503 E Main Street, Campbellsville, KY, with burial to follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens, 700 Old U.S. 68, Campbellsville, KY. The family will receive friends 5pm-8pmCT/6pm-9pmET, Wednesday at the Betts & West Funeral Home, 404 N Main Street, Nicholasville, KY, and from 8amCT/9amET, till the service hour of 12pmNoonCT/1pmET, Thursday, at Lyon-Dewitt-Berry Funeral Home.

He was born on January 12, 1958 in Indianapolis, Marion County, IN. He was the son of Anna Lee Gaskin Curry and the late James Hollis Curry. He died Saturday, July 26, 2015, at the age of 57 years, six months, and 14 days.

Terry was a machine operator for General Electric. He was a member of the UK Football team in college and played on the 1976 Peach Bowl Team.

Terry is also survived by the following:
  • One daughter: Desiree Newell

  • Two grandchildren: Travis Todd Chambers Jr. and Alexandra Marie Alarcon

  • One sister: Jamie Leslene Greenwell

  • One niece: Jessica Greenwell

  • One nephew: Jacob Greenwell

  • One great nephew: Bentley Hall
