Eric James Edney Arnett, age 36, of Tompkinsville, died Tuesday, July 21, 2015, at his residence.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 25, 2015, at 4pmCT, at the McMurtrey Funeral Home, 2232 Summer Shade Road, Summer Shade, KY. Burial will follow at Mt. Poland at a later time. Visitation will be from 2pm-4pmCT, Saturday, at the funeral home.



Eric James Edney Arnett, 36, Tompkinsville, KY (1979-2015)


Born Friday, June 22, 1979 in Glasgow, Barren County, KY, he was a son of Linda Grace Lollar Arnett, Tompkinsville, and the late Jerry Freeman Arnett. He died Tuesdaym, July 21, 2015, in Tompkinsville, Monroe County, KY, at the age of 36 years, 11 months, and 29 days.

He was a car lot transport driver and was baptized in the Church of Christ.

Survivors in addition to his mother, include:
  • One daughter: Raelynn Grace Arnett, Tompkinsville, KY

  • Two sisters: Lisa Toms, Arkansas and Katrina Lee Frazier, Tompkinsville, KY

  • One brother: Kevin Arnett, Cave City, KY

  • Four nieces: Jaime Arnold, Jenna Burns, Jalen Toms, Anna Arnett, and Lexy Freeman

  • Two nephews: Matt Bartley and Alex Freeman
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the funeral fund.
